Danish Zizzi and Norwegian Cubus have quickly built up a network of fashion stores in Finland.
The Danish clothing chain Zizzi, part of the Ball Group, will be opening its 12th store in Finland in the near future, and is aiming for a total of 20-25 stores around the country. Zizzi’s business concept is to offer high quality fashion at reasonable prices for women in sizes 42-56. Zizzi is using the franchising model to expand in Finland and currently has more than 100 stores in the Nordic countries.
“Zizzi complements the fashion market offering with a concept directed to a specific target group. We have been lacking such a trendy fashion concept for big girls and that’s why it has attracted the interest of the shopping centres,” says Ari Isohella, Senior Advisor at Colliers which specialises in developing shopping centres.
The Norwegian fashion chain Cubus, one of Scandinavias’ largest fashion retail chains supplying clothes and accessories for men, women and children, is opening its 14th store in Finland. The new store will be located in Vaasa, western Finland, adding to existing stores in Espoo, Helsinki, Joensuu, Kempele, Lahti, Lappeenranta, Lempäälä, Pori, Rovaniemi, Tampere and Turku.
Cubus is part of the Norwegian Varner Group, and has about 290 stores in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Poland and Latvia.
